12అచ్చటనుండి పాతవైన చింకిబట్టలను చిరిగి చీరాకులైన గుడ్డపాతలను తీసికొని పోయి, ఆ గోతిలోనున్న యిర్మీయా పట్టుకొనునట్లుగా త్రాళ్లచేత వాటినిదింపిపాతవై చిరిగి చీరాకులైన యీ బట్టలను త్రాళ్లమీద నీ చంకలక్రింద పెట్టుకొనుమని అతనితో చెప్పెను.
13యిర్మీయా ఆలాగు చేయగా వారు యిర్మీయాను త్రాళ్లతో చేదుకొని ఆ గోతిలోనుండి వెలుపలికి తీసిరి; అప్పుడు యిర్మీయా బందీగృహశాలలో నివసించెను.
