నీవు యోనాతాను ఇంటిలో నేను చనిపోకుండ అక్కడికి నన్ను తిరిగి వెళ్లనంపవద్దని రాజు ఎదుట నేను మనవి చేసికొనబోతినని వారితో చెప్పుమని రాజు యిర్మీయాతో అనెను.

- 27అంతట అధిపతులందరు యిర్మీయాయొద్దకు వచ్చి యడుగగా అతడు రాజు సెలవిచ్చిన మాటల ప్రకార ముగా వారికుత్తరమిచ్చి ఆ సంగతి వారికి తెలియజేయనందున వారు అతనితో మాటలాడుట మానిరి.
