నాతోకూడ బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన నా సహోదరులు జనుల హృదయము లను కరుగచేయగా నేను నా దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నిండు మనస్సుతో అనుసరించితిని.

- 9ఆ దినమున మోషే ప్రమాణము చేసినీవు నా దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నిండు మనస్సుతో అనుసరించితివి గనుక నీవు అడుగుపెట్టిన భూమి నిశ్చయముగా నీకును నీ సంతానమునకును ఎల్లప్పు డును స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఉండుననెను.
- 10యెహోవా చెప్పి నట్లు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆ మాట సెలవిచ్చినప్పటి నుండి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అరణ్యములో నడచిన యీ నలు వది ఐదు ఏండ్లు ఆయన నన్ను సజీవునిగా కాపాడి యున్నాడు; ఇదిగో నేనిప్పుడు ఎనబదియయిదేండ్ల వాడను.
