1. 6అని చెప్పి తన మిద్దెమీదికి ఆ యిద్దరిని ఎక్కించి దానిమీద రాశివేసి యున్న జనుపకట్టెలో వారిని దాచి పెట్టెను.
2. 7ఆ మను ష్యులు యొర్దాను దాటు రేవుల మార్గముగా వారిని తరిమిరి; తరుమపోయిన మనుష్యులు బయలు వెళ్లినతోడనే గవిని వేయబడెను.
3. 8ఆ వేగులవారు పండుకొనకమునుపు, ఆమె వారున్న మిద్దెమీదికెక్కి వారితో ఇట్లనెను.
4. 9యెహోవా ఈ దేశమును మీకిచ్చుచున్నాడనియు, మీవలన మాకు భయము పుట్టుననియు, మీ భయమువలన ఈ దేశనివాసులందరికి ధైర్యము చెడుననియు నేనెరుగుదును.
5. 10మీరు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి వచ్చినప్పుడు మీ యెదుట యెహోవా యెఱ్ఱసముద్రపు నీరును ఏలాగు ఆరిపోచేసెనో, యొర్దాను తీరముననున్న అమోరీయుల యిద్దరు రాజులైన సీహోనుకును ఓగుకును మీరేమి చేసితిరో, అనగా మీరు వారిని ఏలాగు నిర్మూలము చేసితిరో ఆ సంగతి మేము వింటిమి.
