- 4యెహోషువ సున్నతి చేయించుటకు హేతువేమనగా, ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బయలు దేరినవారందరిలో యుద్ధసన్నద్ధులైన పురుషులందరు ఐగుప్తు మార్గమున అరణ్యములో చనిపోయిరి.
- 5బయలుదేరిన పురుషులందరు సున్నతి పొందినవారే కాని ఐగుప్తులో నుండి బయలుదేరిన తరువాత అరణ్యమార్గమందు పుట్టిన వారిలో ఎవరును సున్నతి పొందియుండలేదు.
