ఆయన వారికి ప్రతిగా పుట్టించిన వారి కుమారులు సున్నతి పొంది యుండలేదు గనుక వారికి సున్నతి చేయించెను; ఏల యనగా మార్గమున వారికి సున్నతి జరుగలేదు.

- 8కాబట్టి ఆ సమస్త జనము సున్నతి పొందుట తీరిన తరువాత తాము బాగుపడు వరకు పాళెములోని తమ చోట్ల నిలిచిరి.
- 9అప్పుడు యెహోవానేడు నేను ఐగుప్తు అవమానము మీ మీద నుండకుండ దొరలించివేసి యున్నానని యెహో షువతో ననెను. అందుచేత నేటివరకు ఆ చోటికి గిల్గా లను పేరు.
