ఏడవమారు యాజకులు బూరలు ఊదగా యెహోషువ జనులకు ఈలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెనుకేకలువేయుడి, యెహోవా ఈ పట్టణమును మీకు అప్పగించుచున్నాడు.

- 17ఈ పట్టణ మును దీనిలో నున్నది యావత్తును యెహోవా వలన శపింప బడెను. రాహాబు అను వేశ్య మనము పంపిన దూతలను దాచిపెట్టెను గనుక ఆమెయు ఆ యింటనున్న వారంద రును మాత్రమే బ్రదుకుదురు.
- 18శపింపబడినదానిలో కొంచెమైనను మీరు తీసికొనిన యెడల మీరు శాపగ్రస్తులై ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పాళెమునకు శాపము తెప్పించి దానికి బాధ కలుగజేయుదురు గనుక శపింపబడిన దానిని మీరు ముట్టకూడదు.
