ఆ హేతువుచేతను మీరు శాపగ్రస్తులగుదురు, దాస్యము మీకెన్నడును మానదు, నా దేవుని ఆలయమునకు మీరు కట్టెలు నరుకువారును నీళ్లు చేదువారునై యుండకమానరు.
Aa hetuvuchetanu meeru shaapagrastulaguduru, daasyamu meekennadunu maanadu, naa devuni aalayamunaku meeru kattelu narukuvaarunu neellu cheduvaarunai yundakamaanaru.

- 24అందుకు వారు యెహోషువను చూచినీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఈ సమస్త దేశమును మీకిచ్చి, మీ యెదుట నిలువకుండ ఈ దేశనివాసులనందరిని నశింపజేయునట్లు తన సేవకుడైన మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెనని నీ దాసులకు రూఢిగా తెలుపబడెను గనుక మేము మా ప్రాణముల విషయములో నీవలన మిక్కిలి భయపడి యీలాగు చేసితివిు.
- 25కాబట్టి మేము నీ వశమున నున్నాము; మాకేమి చేయుట నీ దృష్టికి న్యాయమో యేది మంచిదో అదే చేయుమని యెహోషువకు ఉత్తర మిచ్చిరి.
