తరువాత యూదావంశస్థులు మన్యములయందును దక్షిణదేశమందును లోయయందును నివసించిన కనానీయు లతో యుద్ధము చేయుటకు పోయిరి.

- 10మరియు యూదా వంశస్థులు హెబ్రోనులో నివసించిన కనానీయులమీదికి పోయి, షేషయిని అహీమానును తల్మయిని హతముచేసిరి.
- 11ఆ హెబ్రోను పేరు కిర్యతర్బా. అక్కడనుండి వారు దెబీరు నివాసులమీదికి పోయిరి. పూర్వము దెబీరు పేరు కిర్యత్సేఫెరు.
