కాబట్టి సమ్సోను భార్య అతని పాదములయొద్ద పడి యేడ్చుచునీవు నన్ను ద్వేషించితివి గాని ప్రేమింపలేదు. నీవు నా జనులకు ఒక విప్పుడు కథను వేసితివి, దాని నాకు తెలుప వైతివి అనగా అతడునేను నా తలిదండ్రులకైనను దాని తెలుపలేదు, నీకు తెలుపుదునా? అనినప్పుడు ఆమె వారి విందు దినములు ఏడింటను అతనియొద్ద ఏడ్చు చువచ్చెను.

Kaabatti samsonu bhaarya atani paadamulayodda padi yedchuchuneevu nannu dveshinchitivi gaani premimpaledu. Neevu naa janulaku oka vippudu kathanu vesitivi, daani naaku telupa vaitivi anagaa atadunenu naa talidandrulakainanu daani telupaledu, neeku telupudunaa? Aninappudu aame vaari vindu dinamulu edintanu ataniyodda edchu chuvachchenu.

King James Version (KJV): And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told [it] me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told [it] my father nor my mother, and shall I tell [it] thee?
World English Bible (WEB): Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”

15ఏడవ దినమున వారు సమ్సోను భార్యతో ఇట్ల నిరినీ పెనిమిటి ఆ విప్పుడు కథభావమును మాకు తెలుపునట్లు అతని లాలనచేయుము, లేనియెడల మేము అగ్ని వేసి నిన్ను నీ తండ్రి యింటివారిని కాల్చివేసెదము; మా ఆస్తిని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనుటకే మమ్మును పిలిచితిరా? అనిరి.

17ఏడవదినమున ఆమె అతని తొందర పెట్టినందున అతడు ఆమెకు దాని తెలియజేయగా ఆమె తన జనులకు ఆ విప్పుడు కథను తెలిపెను.
18ఏడవదినమున సూర్యుడు అస ్తమింపకమునుపు ఆ ఊరివారు తేనెకంటె తీపియైనదేది?సింహముకంటె బలమైనదేది? అని అతనితో అనగా అతడునా దూడతో దున్నకపోయినయెడల నా విప్పుడు కథను విప్పలేకయుందురని వారితో చెప్పెను.
