ఆమె తన తొడమీద అతని నిద్రబుచ్చి, ఒక మనుష్యుని పిలిపించి వానిచేత అతని తలమీది యేడు జడ లను క్షౌరము చేయించి అతని బాధించుటకు మొదలు పెట్టెను. అప్పుడు అతనిలోనుండి బలము తొలగిపోయెను.

- 20ఆమెసమ్సోనూ, ఫిలిష్తీయులు నీమీద పడు చున్నారనగా అతడు నిద్రమేలుకొనియెప్పటియట్లు నేను బయలుదేరి విడజిమ్ముకొందుననుకొనెను. అయితే యెహోవా తనను ఎడబాసెనని అతనికి తెలియలేదు.
- 21అప్పుడు ఫిలిష్తీయులు అతని పట్టుకొని అతని కన్నులను ఊడదీసి గాజాకు అతని తీసికొని వచ్చి యిత్తడి సంకెళ్లచేత అతని బంధించిరి.
