మరణముకంటె ఎక్కువ దుఃఖము కలిగించునది ఒకటి నాకు కనబడెను; అది వలల వంటిదై, ఉరులవంటి మనస్సును బంధకములవంటి చేతులును కలిగిన స్త్రీ; దేవుని దృష్టికి మంచివారైనవారు దానిని తప్పించుకొందురు గాని పాపాత్ములు దానివలన పట్టబడుదురు.
Maranamukante ekkuva duhkhamu kaliginchunadi okati naaku kanabadenu; adi valala vantidai, urulavanti manassunu bandhakamulavanti chetulunu kaligina stree; devuni drushtiki manchivaarainavaaru daanini tappinchukonduru gaani paapaatmulu daanivalana pattabaduduru.
