సమ్సోనుఏడు నిరవంజి చువ్వలతో నన్ను బంధించినయెడల నేను బలహీనుడనై సామాన్య మనుష్యులలో ఒకనివలె అవుదునని ఆమెతో చెప్పెను.

- 8ఫిలిష్తీయుల సర్దారులు ఏడు నిరవంజి చువ్వ లను ఆమెయొద్దకు తీసికొని రాగా ఆమె వాటితో అతని బంధించెను.
- 9మాటుననుండువారు ఆమెతో అంతఃపుర ములో దిగియుండిరి గనుక ఆమెసమ్సోనూ, ఫిలిష్తీ యులు నీమీద పడుచున్నారని అతనితో అనగా, అతడు అగ్నితగిలిన నూలు రీతిగా ఆ తడపలను తెంపెను గనుక అతని బలము తెలియబడలేదు.
