మీరు దయచేసి షెకెము యజమానులందరు వినునట్లు వారితో మాటలాడి మీకేది మంచిది? యెరుబ్బయలుయొక్క కుమారులైన డెబ్బదిమంది మనుష్యులందరు మిమ్మును ఏలుటమంచిదా? ఒక్క మనుష్యుడు మిమ్మును ఏలుటమంచిదా? నేను మీ రక్తసంబంధినని జ్ఞాపకముచేసికొనుడి అని పలుకుడనెను.

Meeru dayachesi shekemu yajamaanulandaru vinunatlu vaarito maatalaadi meekedi manchidi? Yerubbayaluyokka kumaarulaina debbadimandi manushyulandaru mimmunu elutamanchidaa? Okka manushyudu mimmunu elutamanchidaa? Nenu mee raktasambandhinani jnyaapakamuchesikonudi ani palukudanenu.

King James Version (KJV): Speak, I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether [is] better for you, either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, [which are] threescore and ten persons, reign over you, or that one reign over you? remember also that I [am] your bone and your flesh.
World English Bible (WEB): “Please speak in the ears of all the men of Shechem, ‘Is it better for you that all the sons of Jerubbaal, who are seventy persons, rule over you, or that one rule over you?’ Remember also that I am your bone and your flesh.”
American Standard Version (ASV): Speak, I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, that all the sons of Jerubbaal, who are threescore and ten persons, rule over you, or that one rule over you? remember also that I am your bone and your flesh.

3అతని తల్లి సహోదరులు అతనిగూర్చి షెకెము యజమా నులు వినునట్లు ఆ మాటలన్నియు చెప్పగా వారుఇతడు మన సహోదరుడనుకొని తమ హృదయము అబీమెలెకు తట్టు త్రిప్పుకొనిరి;
4అప్పుడు వారు బయల్బెరీతు గుడిలోనుండి డెబ్బది తులముల వెండి తెచ్చి అతనికియ్యగా వాటితో అబీమెలెకు అల్లరిజనమును కూలికి పెట్టుకొనెను, వారు అతని వశమున నుండిరి.
