ఆ పట్టణ ప్రధానియైన జెబులు ఎబెదు కుమారుడైన గాలుమాటలను వినినప్పుడు అతని కోపాగ్ని మండెను.
Aa pattana pradhaaniyaina jebulu ebedu kumaarudaina gaalumaatalanu vininappudu atani kopaagni mandenu.

- 29ఈ జనము నా చేతిలో ఉండిన యెడల ఆహా నేను అబీమెలెకును తొలగింతును గదా అనెను. తరువాత అతడు అబీమెలెకుతో నీ సేనను ఎక్కువ చేసి బయలుదేరి రమ్మనెను.

- 31అప్పుడతడు అబీమెలెకు నొద్దకు రహస్యముగా దూతలను పంపిఇదిగో ఎబెదు కుమారుడైన గాలును అతని బంధువులును షెకెముకు వచ్చి యున్నారు, వారు నీమీదికి ఈ పట్టణమును రేపు చున్నారు.
