- 13ఆయనమీరే వారికి భోజనము పెట్టుడని వారితో చెప్పగా వారుమనయొద్ద అయిదు రొట్టెలును రెండు చేపలును తప్ప మరేమియు లేదు; మేము వెళ్లి యీ ప్రజలందరికొరకు భోజనపదార్థములను కొని తెత్తుమా అని చెప్పిరి.

- 16అంతట ఆయన ఆ అయిదు రొట్టెలను రెండు చేపలను ఎత్తికొని, ఆకాశము వైపు కన్ను లెత్తి వాటిని ఆశీర్వదించి, విరిచి, జనసమూహము నకు వడ్డించుటకై శిష్యులకిచ్చెను.
