వారు వచ్చి కన్నులెత్తిచూడగా, రాయి పొర్లింపబడి యుండుట చూచిరి. ఆ రాయి యెంతో పెద్దది.

Vaaru vachchi kannulettichoodagaa, raayi porlimpabadi yunduta choochiri. Aa raayi yento peddadi.

2వారు ఆదివారమున పెందలకడ (లేచి, బయలుదేరి) సూర్యోదయమైనప్పుడు సమాధియొద్దకు వచ్చుచుండగా,
3సమాధి ద్వారమునుండి మనకొరకు ఆ రాయి యెవడు పొర్లించునని ఒకరితో ఒకరు చెప్పుకొనుచుండిరి.
4వారు వచ్చి కన్నులెత్తిచూడగా, రాయి పొర్లింపబడి యుండుట చూచిరి. ఆ రాయి యెంతో పెద్దది.
5అప్పుడు వారు సమాధిలో ప్రవేశించి, తెల్లని నిలువుటంగీ ధరించు కొనియున్న యొక పడుచువాడు కుడివైపున కూర్చుండుట చూచి మిగుల కలవరపడిరి.
6అందుకతడు కలవరపడకుడి సిలువ వేయబడిన నజరేయుడగు యేసును మీరు వెదకుచున్నారు; ఆయన లేచియున్నాడు, ఇక్కడ లేడు; వారు ఆయనను ఉంచిన స్థలము చూడుడి.
