1. 36బోధకుడా, ధర్మ శాస్త్రములో ముఖ్యమైన ఆజ్ఞ ఏదని అడిగెను.
2. 37అందు కాయననీ పూర్ణహృదయముతోను నీ పూర్ణాత్మతోను నీ పూర్ణమనస్సుతోను నీ దేవుడైన ప్రభువును ప్రేమింప వలెననునదియే.
3. 38ఇది ముఖ్య మైనదియు మొదటిదియునైన ఆజ్ఞ.
4. 39నిన్నువలె నీ పొరుగువాని ప్రేమింపవలెనను రెండవ ఆజ్ఞయు దానివంటిదే.
