నేను వారిని గద్దించి వారితో ఇట్లంటినిమీరు గోడచాటున ఎందుకు బసచేసి కొంటిరి? మీరు ఇంకొకసారి ఈలాగు చేసినయెడల మిమ్మును పట్టుకొందునని చెప్పితిని; అప్పటినుండి విశ్రాంతి దినమున వారు మరి రాలేదు.
Nenu vaarini gaddinchi vaarito itlantinimeeru godachaatuna enduku basachesi kontiri? Meeru inkokasaari eelaagu chesinayedala mimmunu pattukondunani cheppitini; appatinundi vishraanti dinamuna vaaru mari raaledu.

- Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do [so] again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no [more] on the sabbath.

- 22అప్పుడు తమ్మును తాము పవిత్రపరచుకొనవలెననియు, విశ్రాంతి దినమును ఆచరించుటకు వచ్చి గుమ్మములను కాచుకొనవలెననియు లేవీయు లకు నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని. నా దేవా, యిందును గూర్చియు నన్ను జ్ఞాపకముంచుకొని నీ కృపాతిశయము చొప్పున నన్ను రక్షించుము.
- 23ఆ దినములలో అష్డోదు అమ్మోను మోయాబు సంబంధు లైన స్త్రీలను వివాహము చేసికొనిన కొందరు యూదులు నాకు కనబడిరి.
