5ఐగుప్తులో మేము ఉచి తముగా తినిన చేపలును కీరకాయలును దోసకాయలును కూరాకులును ఉల్లిపాయలును తెల్ల గడ్డలును జ్ఞాపకమునకు వచ్చుచున్నవి. ఇప్పుడు మా ప్రాణము సొమ్మసిల్లెను.
6ఈ మన్నా కాక మా కన్నులయెదుట మరేమియు లేదని చెప్పుకొనిరి.
7ఆ మన్నా కొతిమెరగింజలవలె ఉండెను. చూపునకు అది బోళమువలె ఉండెను.
8జనులు తిరుగుచు దానిని గూర్చుకొని తిరుగట విసిరి లేక రోట దంచి పెనము మీద కాల్చి రొట్టెలు చేసిరి; దాని రుచి క్రొత్త నూనె రుచివలె ఉండెను.
