2. 17మమ్మును నీ దేశమును దాటి పోనిమ్ము; పొలములలో బడియైనను ద్రాక్షతోటలలో బడియైనను వెళ్లము; బావుల నీళ్లు త్రాగము; రాజ మార్గమున నడిచిపోయెదము. నీ పొలిమేరలను దాటువరకు కుడివైపునకైనను ఎడమవైపున కైనను తిరుగకుండ పోయెదమని చెప్పించెను.
3. 18ఎదోమీ యులు నీవు నా దేశములో బడి వెళ్లకూడదు; నేను ఖడ్గముతో నీకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చెదను సుమీ అని అతనితో చెప్పగా
4. 19ఇశ్రాయేలీయులుమేము రాజమార్గముననే వెళ్లెదము; నేనును నా పశువులును నీ నీళ్లు త్రాగునెడల వాటి విలువ నిచ్చుకొందును మరేమి లేదు, కాలినడకనే దాటిపోవుదును; అంతే అని అతనితో చెప్పినప్పుడు అతడునీవు రానేకూడదనెను.
5. 20అంతట ఎదోము బహు జనముతోను మహా బలముతోను బయలుదేరి వారి కెదురుగా వచ్చెను.
