ఇశ్రాయేలీయులుమేము రాజమార్గముననే వెళ్లెదము; నేనును నా పశువులును నీ నీళ్లు త్రాగునెడల వాటి విలువ నిచ్చుకొందును మరేమి లేదు, కాలినడకనే దాటిపోవుదును; అంతే అని అతనితో చెప్పినప్పుడు అతడునీవు రానేకూడదనెను.

- 20అంతట ఎదోము బహు జనముతోను మహా బలముతోను బయలుదేరి వారి కెదురుగా వచ్చెను.
- 21ఎదోము ఇశ్రాయేలు తన పొలి మేరలలోబడి దాటిపోవుటకు సెలవియ్యలేదు గనుక ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అతని యొద్దనుండి తొలగిపోయిరి.
