2. 8నీవు నీ కఱ్ఱను తీసికొని, నీవును నీ సహోదరుడైన అహరోనును ఈ సమాజమును పోగుచేసి వారి కన్నుల యెదుట ఆ బండతో మాటలాడుము. అది నీళ్లనిచ్చును. నీవు వారి కొరకు నీళ్లను బండలోనుండి రప్పించి సమాజమునకును వారి పశువులకును త్రాగుటకిమ్ము.
3. 9యెహోవా అతని కాజ్ఞా పించినట్లు మోషే ఆయన సన్నిధినుండి ఆ కఱ్ఱను తీసికొని పోయెను.
4. 10తరువాత మోషే అహరోనులు ఆ బండ యెదుట సమాజమును పోగుచేసి నప్పుడు అతడు వారితో ద్రోహులారా వినుడి; మేము ఈ బండలోనుండి మీకొరకు నీళ్లు రప్పింపవలెనా? అనెను.
5. 11అప్పుడు మోషే తన చెయ్యి యెత్తి రెండుమారులు తన కఱ్ఱతో ఆ బండను కొట్టగా నీళ్లు సమృద్ధిగా ప్రవహించెను; సమాజమును పశువులును త్రాగెను.
