మోషే ప్రజలకొరకు ప్రార్థన చేయగా యెహోవానీవు తాపకరమైన సర్పము వంటి ప్రతిమను చేయించి స్తంభముమీద పెట్టుము; అప్పుడు కరవబడిన ప్రతివాడును దానివైపుచూచి బ్రదుకునని మోషేకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

- 9కాబట్టి మోషే ఇత్తడి సర్ప మొకటి చేయించి స్తంభముమీద దానిని పెట్టెను. అప్పుడు సర్పపుకాటు తినిన ప్రతివాడు ఆ యిత్తడి సర్పమును నిదానించి చూచినందున బ్రదికెను.
- 10తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు సాగి ఓబోతులో దిగిరి.
