1. 35మెరారీయుల పితరుల కుటుంబములో అబీహా యిలు కుమారుడైన సూరీయేలు ప్రధానుడు. వారు మందిరమునొద్ద ఉత్తరదిక్కున దిగవలసినవారు.
2. 36మెరారి కుమారులు మందిరము యొక్క పలకలను దాని అడ్డకఱ్ఱలను దాని స్తంభములను దాని దిమ్మలను దాని ఉపకరణము లన్నిటిని దాని సేవకొరకైనవన్నిటిని
3. 37దాని చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకార స్తంభములను వాటి దిమ్మలను వాటి మేకులను వాటి త్రాళ్లను కాపాడవలసినవారు.
4. 38మందిరము ఎదుటి తూర్పుదిక్కున, అనగా ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ఎదుటి పూర్వదిశయందు దిగవలసినవారు మోషే అహరోనులు అహరోను కుమారులు; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు కాపాడ వలసిన పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును వారే కాపాడవలెను. అన్యుడు సమీపించినయెడల అతడు మరణశిక్ష నొందును.
5. 39మోషే అహరోనులు యెహోవా మాటను బట్టి, తమ తమ వంశ ములచొప్పున లెక్కించిన లేవీయులలో లెక్కింపబడిన వారందరు, అనగా ఒక నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము గల మగవారందరు ఇరువది రెండువేలమంది.
