4. 10அப்பொழுது ராஜா எபெத்மெலேக் என்னும் எத்தியோப்பியனை நோக்கி: நீ இவ்விடத்திலிருந்து முப்பது மனுஷரை உன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசிசாகாததற்குமுன்னே அவனைத் துரவிலிருந்து தூக்கிவிடு என்று கட்டளையிட்டான்.
5. 11அப்பொழுது எபெத்மெலேக் அந்த மனுஷரைத் தன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, ராஜாவின் அரமனைப் பொக்கிஷசாலையின் கீழிருந்த அறைக்குள் புகுந்து, கிழிந்துபோன பழம்புடவைகளையும் கந்தைத்துணிகளையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவைகளைக் கயிறுகளினால் எரேமியாவண்டைக்குத் துரவிலே இறக்கிவிட்டு,
