5. 6இப்படிச் செய்தவன் யார் என்று பெலிஸ்தர் கேட்கிறபோது, திம்னாத்தானுடைய மருமகனாகிய சிம்சோன்தான்; அவனுடைய பெண்சாதியை அவனுடையசிநேகிதனுக்குக் கொடுத்துவிட்டபடியால் அப்படிச் செய்தான் என்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது பெலிஸ்தர் போய், அவளையும் அவள் தகப்பனையும் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்தார்கள்.
