Psalm 54 in Tamil

1. 1

   தேவனே, உமது நாமத்தினிமித்தம் என்னை இரட்சித்து, உமது வல்லமையினால் எனக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யும்.

   To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

2. 2

   தேவனே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டு, என் வாயின் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடும்.

   Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3. 3

   அந்நியர் எனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறார்கள்; கொடியர் என் பிராணனை வாங்கத் தேடுகிறார்கள்; தேவனைத் தங்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்திநோக்கார்கள். (சேலா.)

   For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

4. 4

   இதோ, தேவன் எனக்குச் சகாயர்; ஆண்டவர் என் ஆத்துமாவை ஆதரிக்கிறவர்களோடே இருக்கிறார்.

   Behold, God [is] mine helper: the Lord [is] with them that uphold my soul.

5. 5

   அவர் என் சத்துருக்களுக்குத்தீமைக்குத் தீமையைச் சரிக்கட்டுவார், உமது சத்தியத்தினிமித்தம் அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கும்.

   He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

6. 6

   உற்சாகத்துடன் நான் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உமது நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பேன், அது நலமானது.

   I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for [it is] good.

7. 7

   அவர் எல்லா நெருக்கத்தையும் நீக்கி, என்னை விடுவித்தார்; என் கண் என் சத்துருக்களில் நீதி சரிக்கட்டுதலைக் கண்டது. (நிகனோத்தில் வாசிக்கத் தாவீது பாடி இராகத்தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவித்த மஸ்கீல் என்னும் சங்கீதம்.)

   For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen [his desire] upon mine enemies.
