तब उसने अपने छोकरे से कहा, दौड़कर जो जो तीर मैं चलाऊं उन्हें ढूंढ़ ले आ। छोकरा दौड़ता ही था, कि उसने एक तीर उसके परे चलाया।

38फिर योनातन ने छोकरे के पीछे से पुकारकर कहा, बड़ी फुर्ती कर, ठहर मत। और योनातन ने छोकरे के पीछे से पुकार के कहा, बड़ी फुर्ती कर, ठहर मत! और योनातन का छोकरा तीरों को बटोर के अपने स्वामी के पास ल आया।
