राजा ने उन से कहा, जो कुछ तुम्हें भाए वही मैं करूंगा। और राजा ॅफाटक की एक ओर खड़ा रहा, और सब लोग सौ सौ, और हज़ार, हज़ार करके निकलने लगे।
Raajaa ne un se kahaa, jo kuchh tumhem bhaae vahee maim karoongaa. Aur raajaa phaatak kee ek or khadaa rahaa, aur sab log sau sau, aur hajaar, hajaar karake nikalane lage.

- 5और राजा ने योआब, अबीशै, और इत्ते को आज्ञा दी, कि मेरे निमित्त उस जवान, अर्थात् अबशालोम से कोमलता करना। यह आज्ञा राजा ने अबशालोम के विषय सब प्रधानों को सब लोगों के सुनते दी।
- 6सो लोग इस्राएल का साम्हला करने को मैदान में निकले; और एप्रैम नाम वन में युठ्ठ हुआ।
