इस कारण उस समय ज्यों ही सब जाति के लोगों को नरसिंगे, बांसुली, वीणा, सारंगी, सितार शहनाई आदि सब प्रकार के बाजों का शब्द सुन पड़ा, त्यों ही देश- देश और जाति- जाति के लोगों और भिन्न- भिन्न भाषा बोलनेवालों ने गिरकर उस सोने की मूरत को जो नबूकदनेस्सर राजा ने खड़ी कराई थी, दण्डवत् की।।
