तू जो उनके देश का अधिकारी होने के लिये जा रहा है, इसका कारण तेरा धर्म वा मन की सीधाई नहीं है; तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा जो उन जातियों को तेरे साम्हने से निकालता है, उसका कारण उनकी दुष्टता है, और यह भी कि जो वचन उस ने इब्राहीम, इसहाक, और याकूब, तेरे पूर्वजों को शपथ खाकर दिया था, उसको वह पूरा करना चाहता है।
Too jo unake desh kaa adhikaaree hone ke liye jaa rahaa hai, isakaa kaaran teraa dharm vaa man kee seedhaaee naheem hai; teraa parameshvar yahovaa jo un jaatiyom ko tere saamhane se nikaalataa hai, usakaa kaaran unakee dushtataa hai, aur yah bhee ki jo vachan us ne ibraaheem, isahaak, aur yaakoob, tere poorvajom ko shapath khaakar diyaa thaa, usako vah pooraa karanaa chaahataa hai.
