Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek [it] out, yet he shall not find [it;] yea further; though a wise [man] think to know [it], yet shall he not be able to find [it].

3. 17तब मैं ने परमेश्वर का सारा काम देखा जो सूर्य के नीचे किया जाता है, उसकी थाह मनुष्य नहीं पा सकता। चाहे मनुष्य उसकी खोज में कितना भी परिश्रम करे, तौभी उसको न जान पाएगा; और यद्यिप बुद्धिमान कहे भी कि मैं उसे समझूंगा, तौभी वह उसे न पा सकेगा।।
