और भवन के आस पास जो कोठरियां बाहर थीं, उन में से जो ऊपर थीं, वे अधिक चौड़ी थीं; अर्थात् भवन के आस पास जो कुछ बना था, वह जैसे जैसे ऊपर की ओर चढ़ता गया, वैसे वैसे चौड़ा होता गया; इस रीति, इस घर की चौड़ाई ऊपर की ओर बढ़ी हुई थी, और लोग नीचले महल के बीच से उपरले महल को चढ़ सकते थे।

King James Version (KJV): And [there was] an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house [was still] upward, and so increased [from] the lowest [chamber] to the highest by the midst.
World English Bible (WEB): The side rooms were wider on the higher levels, because the walls were narrower at the higher levels. Therefore the width of the house increased upward; and so one went up from the lowest level to the highest through the middle level.
American Standard Version (ASV): And the side-chambers were broader as they encompassed [the house] higher and higher; for the encompassing of the house went higher and higher round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house [continued] upward; and so one went up [from] the lowest [chamber] to the highest by the middle [chamber].

8फिर मैं ने भवन के आस पास ऊंची भूमि देशी, और बाहरी कोठरियों की ऊंचाई जोड़ तक छे हाथ के बांस की थी।
9बाहरी कोठरियों के लिये जो भीत थी, वह पांच हाथ मोटी थी, और जो स्थान खाली रह गया था, वह भवन की बाहरी कोठरियों का स्थान था।
