ओनान तो जानता था कि सन्तान तो मेरी न ठहरेगी: सो ऐसा हुआ, कि जब वह अपनी भौजाई के पास गया, तब उस ने भूमि पर वीर्य गिराकर नाश किया, जिस से ऐसा न हो कि उसके भाई के नाम से वंश चले।
