4मोआब का सत्यानाश हो रहा है; उसके नन्हे बच्चों की चिल्लाहट सुन पड़ी।
5क्योंकि लूहीत की चढ़ाई में लोग लगातार रोते हुए चढ़ेंगे; और होरोनैम की उतार में नाश की चिल्लाहट का संकट हुआ है।
6भागो! अपना अपना प्राण बचाओ! उस अधमूए पेड़ के समान हो जाओ जंगल में होता है!
7क्योंकि तू जो अपने कामों और सम्पत्ति पर भरोसा रखता है, इस कारण तू भी पकड़ा जाएगा; और कमोश देवता भी अपने याजकों और हाकिमों समेत बंधुआई में जाएगा।
