परन्तु तुम मत ठहरो, अपने शत्रुओं का पीछा करके उन में से जो जो पिछड़ गए हैं उनको मार डालो, उन्हें अपने अपने नगर में प्रवेश करने का अवसर न दो; क्योकि तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने उनको तुम्हारे हाथ में कर दिया है।
Parantu tum mat thaharo, apane shatruom kaa peechhaa karake un mem se jo jo pichhad gae haim unako maar daalo, unhem apane apane nagar mem pravesh karane kaa avasar na do; kyoki tumhaare parameshvar yahovaa ne unako tumhaare haath mem kar diyaa hai.

- 21तब सब लोग मक्केदा की छावनी को यहोशू के पास कुशल- क्षेम से लौट आए; और इस्राएलियों के विरूद्ध किसी ने जीभ तक न हिलाई।
