2. 3तू क्यों अपने भाई की आंख के तिनके को देखता है, और अपनी आंख का लट्ठा तुझे नहीं सूझता? और जब तेरी ही आंख मे लट्ठा है, तो तू अपने भाई से क्योंकर कह सकता है, कि ला मैं तेरी आंख से तिनका निकाल दूं।
3. 4हे कपटी, पहले अपनी आंख में से लट्ठा निकाल ले, तक तू अपने भाई की आंख का तिनका भली भांति देखकर निकाल सकेगा।।
4. 5पवित्रा वस्तु कुत्तों को न दो, और अपने मोती सूअरों के आगे मत डालो; ऐसा न हो कि वे उन्हें पांवों तले रौंदें और पलटकर तुम को फाड़ डालें।।
5. 6मोंगो, तो तुम्हें दिया जाएगा; ढूंढ़ो, तो तुम पाओगे; खटखटाओ, तो तुम्हारे लिये खोला जाएगा।
