1फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,
2लेवियों में से कहातियों की, उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार, गिनती करो,
3अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्थावालों की सेना में, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में कामकाज करने को भरती हैं।
4और मिलापवाले तम्बू में परमपवित्रा वस्तुओं के विषय कहातियों का यह काम होगा,
