जिस दिन निवास जो साक्षी का तम्बू भी कहलाता है खड़ा किया गया, उस दिन बादल उस पर छा गया; और सन्ध्या को वह निवास पर आग सा दिखाई दिया और भोर तक दिखाई देता रहा।

Jis din nivaas jo saakshee kaa tamboo bhee kahalaataa hai khadaa kiyaa gayaa, us din baadal us par chhaa gayaa; aur sandhyaa ko vah nivaas par aag saa dikhaaee diyaa aur bhor tak dikhaaee detaa rahaa.

King James Version (KJV): And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, [namely], the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.
World English Bible (WEB): On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony. At evening it was over the tabernacle, as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.

16और नित्य ऐसा ही हुआ करता था; अर्थात् दिन को बादल छाया रहता, और रात को आग दिखाई देती थी।
17और जब जब वह बादल तम्बू पर से उठ जाता तब इस्त्राएली प्रस्थान करते थे; और जिस स्थान पर बादल ठहर जाता वहीं इस्त्राएली अपने डेरे खड़े करते थे।
