हे यहोवा, न तो मेरा मन गर्व से और न मेरी दृष्टि घमण्ड से भरी है; और जो बातें बड़ी और मेरे लिये अधिक कठिन हैं, उन से मैं काम नहीं रखता।

निश्चय मैं ने अपने मन को शान्त और चुप कर दिया है, जैसे दूध छुड़ाया हुआ लड़का अपनी मां की गोद में रहता है, वैसे ही दूध छुड़ाए हुए लड़के के समान मेरा मन भी रहता है।।
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.
हे इस्राएल, अब से लेकर सदा सर्वदा यहोवा ही पर आशा लगाए रह!
Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
