तू ने मेरे शत्रुओं की पीठ मेरी ओर फेर दी, ताकि मैं उनको काट डालूं जो मुझ से द्वेष रखते हैं।

Too ne mere shatruom kee peeth meree or pher dee, taaki maim unako kaat daaloom jo mujh se dvesh rakhate hain.

King James Version (KJV): Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
World English Bible (WEB): You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
American Standard Version (ASV): Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, That I might cut off them that hate me.

38मैं उन्हें ऐसा बेधूंगा कि वे उठ न सकेंगे; वे मेरे पांवों के नीचे गिर पड़ेंगे।
39क्योंकि तू ने युद्ध के लिये मेरी कमर में शक्ति का पटुका बान्धा है; और मेरे विरोधियों को मेरे सम्मुख नीचा कर दिया।

41उन्हों ने दोहाई तो दी परन्तु उन्हें कोई भी बचानेवाला न मिला, उन्हों ने यहोवा की भी दोहाई दी, परन्तु उस ने भी उनको उत्तर न दिया।
42तब मैं ने उनको कूट कूटकर पवन से उड़ाई हुई धूलि के समान कर दिया; मैं ने उनको गली कूचों की कीचड़ के समान निकाल फेंका।।
