ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಬಾಳ್‌ಪೆರಾಚೀಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು--ನೀರು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಳ್‌ಪೆರಾಚೀಮು ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.

- 11ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಬಾಳ್‌ಪೆರಾಚೀಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು--ನೀರು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಳ್‌ಪೆರಾಚೀಮು ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 12ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಅವು ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
- 13ಆದರೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಂದು ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.
