3. 12ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿ ಸಿದಾತನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವೇನು ನೋಡಿಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
4. 13ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಗಾದ ನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಬಹು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆಯು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವದು; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳಲಾರೆನು ಅಂದನು.
5. 14ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದರು.
