1 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ 23
ಹೀಗೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿಯೂ ದಿವಸಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರು ವಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
ಲೇವಿಯರು ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದವರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಪುರುಷರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವು ತಲೆ ತಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಪಾರುಪತ್ಯಗಾರರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿ ಪತಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು.
Moreover four thousand [were] porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise [therewith].
ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನು ಕೆಹಾತನು ಮೆರಾರೀಯು ಎಂಬ ಲೇವಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ವರ್ಗಗಳಾಗಿ ದಾವೀ ದನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿದನು.
And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, [namely], Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಲದ್ದಾನನು ಶಿವ್ಮೆಾ: ಲದ್ದಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರು --
Of the Gershonites [were], Laadan, and Shimei.
ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನು ಜೇತಾಮನು ಯೋವೇಲನು ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯು.
The sons of Laadan; the chief [was] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರು ಶೆಲೋಮೊ ತನು ಹಜೀಯೇಲನು ಹಾರಾನನು ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯು.
The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These [were] the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
ಇವರು ಲದ್ದಾನನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಶಿಮ್ಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು--ಯಹತನು ಜೀನನು ಯೆಯೂಷನು ಬೆರೀಯನು.
And the sons of Shimei [were], Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four [were] the sons of Shimei.
ಶಿಮ್ಮನ ಈ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಹತನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು. ಜೀಜನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಆದರೆ ಯೆಯೂಷ ನಿಗೂ ಬೆರೀಯನಿಗೂ ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇಲ್ಲ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to [their] father’s house.
ಕೆಹಾತನ ಕುಮಾರರು--ಅಮ್ರಾಮನು, ಇಚ್ಹಾ ರನು, ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನು, ಉಜ್ಜಿಯೇಲನು ಎಂಬ ಈ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮಂದಿಯು.
The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
ಅಮ್ರಾಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು --ಆರೋನನು ಮೋಶೆಯು; ಆರೋನನು ಯುಗ ಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಧೂಪ ಸುಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಾನೂ ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೂ ಅತಿ ಪರಿ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇ ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಕುಮಾರರು ಲೇವಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
Now [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
ಮೋಶೆಯ ಕುಮಾರರು--ಗೇರ್ಷೋಮನು ಎಲೀ ಯೆಜೆರನು.
The sons of Moses [were], Gershom, and Eliezer.
ಗೇರ್ಷೋಮನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಬೂ ವೇಲನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel [was] the chief.
ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನ ಕುಮಾರರು -- ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಯನು. ಇವನ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕುಮಾರರಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ರೆಹಬ್ಯನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
And the sons of Eliezer [were], Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
ಇಚ್ಹಾರನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಲೋಮೊತನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೀಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು, ಅಮರ್ಯನು ಎರ ಡನೆಯವನು, ಯಹಜೀಯೇಲನು ಮೂರನೆಯ ವನು, ಯೆಕಮ್ಮಾಮನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು.
Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
ಉಜ್ಜೀ ಯೇಲನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಾಕನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು, ಇಷ್ಷೀಯನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು.
Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah the first, and Jesiah the second.
ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಕುಮಾರರು--ಮಹ್ಲೀಯು, ಮೂಷೀಯು. ಮಹ್ಲೀಯ ಕುಮಾರರು--ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್‌, ಕೀಷನು;
The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್‌ ಸತ್ತನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕುಮಾರ ರಿಲ್ಲ, ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದ್ದರು; ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಕೀಷನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
ಮೂಷೀಯ ಕುಮಾರರು-- ಮಹ್ಲೀಯು ಏದೆರ್‌ ಯೆರೇಮೋತ್‌ ಈ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ.
The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.
ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ವಂಶದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಮಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರು ಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದವರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
These [were] the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; [even] the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
ಅವರು ಯುಗ ಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ಹೇಳಿ
For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಸೇವೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದರ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರುವ ಕೆಲಸವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
And also unto the Levites; they shall no [more] carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
ದಾವೀದನ ಕಡೇಮಾತುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತುವರುಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಯದವರು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
For by the last words of David the Levites [were] numbered from twenty years old and above:
ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ
Because their office [was] to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
ಕರ್ತನ ಮಂದಿರದ ಸೇವೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಬಲಿಯ ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಬಾಂಡ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಿದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಳತೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for [that which is baked in] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಉದಯಕಾಲದ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಂತು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ
And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;
ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಮವಾಸ್ಯೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಕಾವಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಾವಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:
ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಕಾವಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಾವಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy [place], and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
