ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಜಾರತ್ವಮಾಡಿ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತುಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಸತ್ತರು; ನಾವು ಜಾರತ್ವ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರೋಣ.

6ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಶಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಆಶಿಸುವವರಾಗಬಾರದೆಂಬದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿ ಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ನಿದರ್ಶನಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
7ಇಲ್ಲವೆ--ಜನರು ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡರು; ಆಟವಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರಂತೆ ವಿಗ್ರಹಾರಾಧಕರಾಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ.
8ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಜಾರತ್ವಮಾಡಿ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತುಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಸತ್ತರು; ನಾವು ಜಾರತ್ವ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರೋಣ.
9ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸದೆ ಇರೋಣ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ ಸರ್ಪಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಹಾರವಾದರು.
10ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿ ಸಂಹಾರಕನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಾಶ ವಾದರು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ.
