1 ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ 15
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾರಿದ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾರಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದರಿಂದಲೂ ನೀವು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
ನಾನು ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲಾದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಮೊದಲು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದೇನಂದರೆ, ಬರಹದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು; ಬರಹದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಆತನು ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎದ್ದುಬಂದನು.
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಕೇಫನಿಗೂ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಗೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಐನೂರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲವರು ನಿದ್ರೆಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೂ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಗೆ ದಿನ ತುಂಬದೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನಂತಿರುವ ನನಗೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
ನಾನಂತೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠನಷ್ಟೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಪೊಸ್ತಲನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ.
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಎಂಥವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೋ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅಂಥವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನಗುಂಟಾದ ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ನಿಷ್ಪಲವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿ ಗಿಂತಲೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟೆನು; ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟವನು ನಾನಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯೇ.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಾನಾದರೇನು, ಅವರಾದ ರೇನು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾವು ಸಾರಿದೆವು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವು ನಂಬಿದಿರಿ.
Therefore whether [it were] I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದನೆಂದು ಸಾರೋಣ ವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ವೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ?
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಾದರೂ ಎದ್ದು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಎದ್ದು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸಂಗವೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದು.
And if Christ be not risen, then [is] our preaching vain, and your faith [is] also vain.
ಹೌದು, ಸತ್ತವರು ಏಳಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಾವು ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯ ವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದವರಾಗಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದೇವು.
Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
ಸತ್ತವರು ಏಳಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ.
And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.
ಇದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಹೋದವರೂ ನಾಶವಾದರು.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
ಈ ಜೀವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ನಿರ್ಭಾಗ್ಯರೇ ಸರಿ.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದು ನಿದ್ರೆಹೋದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲವಾದನು.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೂಲಕ ಮರಣವುಂಟಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ ವುಂಟಾಗುವದು.
For since by man [came] death, by man [came] also the resurrection of the dead.
ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆದಾಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಾಯುವವರಾದರೋ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಜೀವಿತರಾಗುವರು.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವನು; ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲ, ತರುವಾಯ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಬರೋಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನವರು.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಬೇರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೊರೆತನವನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಮಾಡಿ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿ ಯಾಗುವದು.
Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕುವ ತನಕ ಆತನು ಆಳುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯ.
For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿರುವ ಕಡೇ ಶತ್ರುವು ಮರಣ.
The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death.
ದೇವರು ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಅಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿದಾತನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ.
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಗನು ಸಹ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ತನಗೆ ಅಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನಿಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಅಧೀನನಾಗುವನು; ಹೀಗೆ ದೇವರು ಸಮಸ್ತರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಆಗಿರುವನು.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
ಸತ್ತವರು ಏಳುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಸತ್ತವರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಏನು ಮಾಡುವರು? ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೊಸ್ಕರ ಅವರು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಯಾಕೆ?
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
ನಾವು ಸಹ ಪ್ರತಿಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾಕೆ ಜೀವದ ಭಯದಿಂದಿ ದ್ದೇವೆ?
And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನನಗಿರುವ ಸಂತೋಷದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾನು ದಿನಾಲು ಸಾಯುತ್ತಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
ನಾನು ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೀತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತವರು ಎದ್ದು ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ನನಗೇನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಾವು ತಿನ್ನೋಣ, ಕುಡಿಯೋಣ, ನಾಳೆ ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇವಲ್ಲಾ.
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
ಮೋಸ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ; ದುಸ್ಸಹವಾಸವು ಒಳ್ಳೇನಡವಳಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
ನೀತಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಪಾಪಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your shame.
ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು--ಸತ್ತವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸ ಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಎಂಥ ದೇಹದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಾನು.
But some [man] will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
ಮೂಢನು ನೀನು; ನೀನು ಬಿತ್ತಿರುವದು ಸಾಯದ ಹೊರತು ಜೀವಿತವಾಗು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
[Thou] fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಗೋಧಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವದೋ ಬೀಜವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತುವಾಗ ಬರೀ ಕಾಳನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮುಂದೆ ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other [grain]:
ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟದಂತೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಒಂದೊಂದು ಬೀಜಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರದರ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶರೀರಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ವಿಧವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ; ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಶರೀರ ಬೇರೆ, ಪಶುಗಳ ಶರೀರ ಬೇರೆ, ವಿಾನುಗಳದು ಬೇರೆ, ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳದು ಬೇರೆ.
All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but [there is] one [kind of] flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, [and] another of birds.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ದೇಹಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ದೇಹಗಳು ಇವೆ;ಆದರೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಒಂದು ವಿಧ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ವಿಧ.
[There are] also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial [is] one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial [is] another.
ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಒಂದು ವಿಧ, ಚಂದ್ರನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ವಿಧ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ವಿಧ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆಯುಂಟಷ್ಟೆ.
[There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory.
ಸತ್ತವರಿಗಾಗುವ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವು ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಾಗಿರುವದು. ದೇಹವು ಲಯಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡು ತ್ತದೆ. ನಿರ್ಲಯಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
So also [is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
ಹೀನಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ನಿರ್ಬಲಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಬಲಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
ಪ್ರಾಕೃತ ದೇಹವಾಗಿ ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಆತ್ಮಿಕದೇಹವಾಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಪ್ರಾಕೃತದೇಹವಿರುವದಾದರೆ ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ದೇಹವೂ ಇರುವದು.
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ-- ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಆದಾಮನು ಜೀವಾತ್ಮ ನಾದನು; ಕಡೇ ಆದಾಮನು ಬದುಕಿಸುವ ಆತ್ಮ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.
ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆತ್ಮಿಕವಾದದ್ದು ಮೊದಲ ನೆಯದಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರಾಕೃತವಾದದ್ದು ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತ್ಮಿಕವಾದದ್ದು.
Howbeit that [was] not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪಟ್ಟವನು; ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಕರ್ತನು.
The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven.
ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪಟ್ಟವನು; ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಕರ್ತನು.
As [is] the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy: and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly.
ನಾವು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನ ಸಾರೂಪ್ಯವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದಾ ತನ ಸಾರೂಪ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ-- ಮಾಂಸವು ರಕ್ತವು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗ ಲಾರವು; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಲಯವಾಗುವದು ನಿರ್ಲಯತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
ಇಗೋ, ಮರ್ಮವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ-- ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿದ್ರೆಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಾವೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಾರ್ಪಡುವೆವು.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
ಕಡೇ ತುತೂರಿಯು ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗುವಾಗ ನಾವು ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ರೆಪ್ಪೆಬಡಿಯುವಷ್ಟರೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡುವೆವು. ತುತೂರಿಯು ಊದಲಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತವರು ನಿರ್ಲಯರಾಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವರು, ನಾವು ಮಾರ್ಪಡುವೆವು.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
ಲಯ ವಾಗುವಂಥದ್ದು (ಈ ದೇಹವು) ನಿರ್ಲಯತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೂ ಮರಣಾಧೀನವಾಗಿರುವಂಥ ಈ ದೇಹವು ಅಮರತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೂ ಅವಶ್ಯ.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.
ಲಯವಾಗುವಂಥದ್ದು ನಿರ್ಲಯತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು, ಮರಣಾಧೀನವಾಗಿರುವಂಥದ್ದು ಅಮರ ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು; ಆಗ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವದು, ಆ ಮಾತು ಏನಂದರೆ--ಜಯವು ಮರಣವನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿತು ಎಂಬದೇ.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
ಓ ಮರಣವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊಂಡಿಯೆಲ್ಲಿ? ಓ ಸಮಾಧಿಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಜಯವೆಲ್ಲಿ?
O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?
ಮರಣದ ಕೊಂಡಿ ಪಾಪವೇ; ಪಾಪದ ಬಲವು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವೇ.
The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.
ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮಗೆ ಜಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ.ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಲರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರ್ರಿ. ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಡುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಸವು ನಿಷ್ಪಲವಾಗುವದಿ ಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಕರ್ತನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅತ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಲರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರ್ರಿ. ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಡುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಸವು ನಿಷ್ಪಲವಾಗುವದಿ ಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಕರ್ತನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅತ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
