ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಟನೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿನೈದನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾನೇ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟನು.

King James Version (KJV): So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Beth-el the fifteenth day of the eighth month, [even] in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.
