2. 5ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜೆಕರೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡು ಕುವ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಭಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
3. 6ಅವನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಗತ್‌ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಯಬ್ನೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಷ್ಡೋದಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡವಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಷ್ಡೋ ದಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
4. 7ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಗೂರ್‌ಬಾಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅರಬ್ಬಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮೆಗೂನ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅವನು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ದಾಗ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
5. 8ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇರೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
