1. 12ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೂದದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹೋದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನೋಡಿದ್ದರು.
2. 13ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆಕತ್ತೆಗೆ ತಡಿ ಹಾಕಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅವರು ಕತ್ತೆಗೆ ತಡಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು; ಅವನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಏಲಾ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಂಡನು.
3. 14ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನೀನು ಯೆಹೂದದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೋ ಅಂದನು.
4. 15ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ನಾನೇ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ತಿನ್ನು ಅಂದನು.
5. 16ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಲೂ ಕೂಡದು, ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಲೂ ಕೂಡದು; ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ತಿನ್ನುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
